Suntory officials described the bottle design for Yamazaki 12 Year Old as a tribute to Yamazaki, the oldest malt distillery in Japan. The 2023 limited release of Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara brings the characteristics of Japanese Mizunara oak, in which the malt is aged exclusively.
